Terrier’s paid media management starts from £750 a month excluding VAT, with no minimum term, 60 days’ notice, at any point. Media spend is billed at cost, direct to the platform or through us, with no markup.

What every plan includes

A named person who runs the account day to day, not an account manager who relays it to someone else.

Weekly search term review and negative keyword lists.

Brand exclusions set on Performance Max.

No spend goes live without working conversion tracking.

Targets set from your real margins, not a platform default.

A monthly report tied to revenue or enquiries, not clicks.

No lock-in: 60 days’ notice, at any point.

Management bands

Monthly ad spend Management fee
Up to £5,000 £750/month
£5,000 to £15,000 £1,250/month
Above £15,000 10% of spend

Media spend itself is billed at cost, whether it runs through your own billing account or ours. We do not mark it up.

An account audit is £450 as a one off, credited against month one if you retain us. It is the sensible starting point if you have inherited an account and are not sure what is in it.

What moves the price

Four things move a plan up or down the ladder:

  • Platforms. Google Ads alone is a different scope to Google plus Meta, LinkedIn or TikTok run in parallel.
  • Number of campaigns. A single Search campaign needs less weekly attention than Search, Shopping and Performance Max running together.
  • Creative volume. Paid social and Demand Gen need a steady supply of new creative to avoid fatigue. A static product feed needs far less.
  • Markets. Each additional country or language is a separate keyword set, a separate audience and a separate set of negative lists.

The management fee is set by monthly spend because spend is the clearest proxy for the account’s complexity, but these four factors decide where within a band the work actually lands, and whether an account needs to move up a band as it grows.

What this looks like in practice

Three examples, using only the figures on this page.

£3,000 a month in media. That sits in the up-to-£5,000 band, so management is £750 a month. Total monthly cost is £3,750, media plus management.

£10,000 a month in media. That sits in the £5,000 to £15,000 band, so management is £1,250 a month. Total monthly cost is £11,250.

£25,000 a month in media. That is above the £15,000 threshold, so management is 10% of spend, £2,500 a month. Total monthly cost is £27,500.

When management earns its fee

The test is whether the management fee is small next to the spend it is protecting. At £3,000 a month in media, £750 of management is 25% of spend, and the job is to stop that £3,000 leaking to broad match terms, poor Performance Max exclusions or missing conversion tracking. At £25,000 a month, £2,500 of management is 10% of spend, and the job shifts from setup and structure towards weekly optimisation at a scale that a founder running the account alone would struggle to keep pace with.

If you are spending under £3,000 a month, it is worth being honest about the maths. Management at that scale is still worthwhile if the account has no tracking, no negative lists or a structure that is wasting a meaningful share of spend, which an audit will tell you. If the account is already clean, the return from paying for management may be smaller than the return from putting that £750 into more media spend instead.

The standards every account is run to are set out on the Google Ads management page, and the published work is on the case studies page.

Frequently asked questions

How much does paid media management cost?

Management runs from £750 a month at up to £5,000 of monthly spend, £1,250 a month at £5,000 to £15,000, and 10% of spend above £15,000. Media is billed at cost on top, with no markup.

Is there a minimum term?

No. 60 days’ notice, at any point. Paid media results are visible faster than SEO, so most accounts can be judged fairly within the first two months.

Do you mark up ad spend?

No. Media is billed at cost, whether it runs through your own billing account or ours. Our fee is the management fee only.

Do you charge for an account audit?

Yes, £450 as a one off. If you retain us for management afterwards, that £450 is credited against month one.

What if I run ads on more than one platform?

The number of platforms is one of the factors that decides where within a band your account sits, alongside the number of campaigns, how much creative the account needs, and how many markets you run in. Ask us for a scoped quote if you are running Google plus paid social together.

Can I pause a plan?

Yes. Paid media does not compound the way organic search does, so pausing is lower risk, but tracking and account health should still be checked before you switch spend back on.

All prices excluding VAT (20%).
