Lucy Ashby
Outreach Account Manager
Lucy Ashby is an Outreach Account Manager at Terrier Agency. Her specialism is influencer marketing. She runs campaigns end to end, from the first creator shortlist through to the final report.
Lucy covers the Australian market. She works with Australian creators, on Australian rate expectations, and to the posting patterns that suit local audiences.
Her client work includes Conair Australia, Cricket Victoria and Brava Lingerie. Those three sit in different places. One is a consumer product brand, one is a sport, one is a specialist retailer, and the creator pool that works for each is different. Lucy builds the shortlist for each brief rather than reusing a roster.
Her day to day covers creator sourcing and vetting, outreach, rate negotiation, contracting, briefing, content approvals, chasing deliverables and performance reporting. Most of the value sits in the unglamorous middle of that list. A campaign fails far more often on a missed deliverable or a brief that was read loosely than on a bad creative idea.
As an account manager she is the point of contact for her clients. She agrees the campaign objective up front, sets what will be measured against it, and reports back on what each activation produced.
She works on both Terrier Agency and Bark Social accounts, which means she can draw on a creator network built across two agencies rather than one.
She measures campaigns on what the client asked for. Reach, saved posts, link clicks and sales all point at different creator choices, and agreeing which one matters before the shortlist is built saves a round of rework later.
Lucy came to influencer marketing from sales. She managed a team of more than 12 sales representatives at Elite Direct Marketing and worked as a course consultant at MyLearning, where she was named employee of the month. That grounding in negotiation and pipeline management carries directly into creator outreach.
Terrier works on a rolling basis with no minimum term and 60 days’ notice at any point, so Lucy’s accounts are held by their results.
