Freyan Mashru, Influencer Marketing Account Executive at Terrier Agency

Freyan Mashru

Influencer Marketing Account Executive

Freyan Mashru is an Influencer Marketing Account Executive at Terrier Agency. Her specialism is influencer marketing, and she manages campaigns from strategy through to delivery.

Freyan covers the Australian market. She works with Australian creators, on local rate benchmarks and to the posting rhythms that suit local audiences.

Her client work includes San Churro, IHG Hotels and Flying Tiger Copenhagen. Hospitality, hotels and retail all sell an experience rather than a specification, which puts the weight on the creator’s own footage. Freyan briefs for what the audience needs to see and leaves the execution to the creator, because over directed content reads as an advert and performs like one.

Her work covers creator sourcing, campaign briefing, talent negotiation, content approvals, performance optimisation and client reporting. She acts as the link between the client, the creators and the internal team, which means she is the person who knows where every deliverable stands at any point in a campaign.

She optimises live campaigns rather than waiting for the end of them. If a creator format is outperforming, the remaining briefs get adjusted while there is still budget left to spend on it.

Freyan works across Terrier Agency and its sister company Bark Social.

Her reporting covers the creators approached, the creators activated, what each produced and what it returned against the campaign objective. Clients see the misses as well as the hits, because a shortlist that did not work is useful information for the next brief.

Freyan’s background spans influencer marketing, luxury retail and PR. At TRIBE Australia she managed end to end influencer campaigns across multiple brand accounts, including a creator campaign for Carolina Herrera. She also managed an active client portfolio at Christian Dior Couture’s Melbourne flagship. She holds a Master of Marketing from La Trobe University and a BA in Fashion Styling and Creative Direction from Istituto Marangoni in Milan.

Terrier works on a rolling basis with no minimum term and 60 days’ notice at any point, so Freyan’s campaigns are renewed on results.
