Emperor Vodka is a premium spirit distilled in one of Europe’s oldest distilleries, but its brand recognition among younger consumers had yet to match that heritage. Terrier Agency designed a lifestyle influencer campaign to associate Emperor Vodka with luxury while keeping it relatable to a modern, social-media-native audience.
We recruited lifestyle creators across different audience tiers, uniting them around a structured content brief that communicated the brand’s messaging and tone while leaving each creator free to work in their own authentic style. The campaign produced 109 pieces of content and reached a combined following of nearly 6.3 million, generating 3,466 engagements.
The mixed-tier approach put Emperor Vodka in front of both aspirational luxury audiences and everyday lifestyle followers, balancing prestige with the relatability that makes influencer content convert.
Selling Heritage to an Audience That Wasn’t Alive for It
A distillery’s age is a fact for a trade audience and a stumbling block for a social one — “one of Europe’s oldest distilleries” reads as credibility to a spirits buyer and as irrelevant history to a 25-year-old scrolling a feed. That’s the gap a lifestyle campaign like this is built to close: the heritage claim stays true, but it’s carried by creators whose own audiences already trust their taste, rather than by the brand stating its own age as a selling point.
Reading a Mixed-Tier Reach Number
109 pieces of content against a combined following of nearly 6.3 million is an audience-exposure figure, not a measure of bottles sold or intent to buy — spirits brands don’t get a direct read from social content to retail sales, and this page doesn’t claim one. What the number does describe is spread: content sitting with creators across different follower sizes, from larger lifestyle accounts down to smaller, more niche ones, so the brand wasn’t reliant on any single tier or any single creator’s fall in engagement to carry the whole campaign. The 3,466 engagements are a smaller subset of that combined following who stopped and reacted, which for a category people buy occasionally rather than daily is a more honest signal of interest than reach alone.
