Women Talking Fibroids is a global non-profit organisation empowering women with knowledge about fibroid symptoms, equipping them to become their own advocates. Terrier Agency ran a paid influencer campaign for the organisation’s July awareness push, amplifying its mission beyond its own channels and into trusted women’s health communities online.
We sourced creators with genuine credibility in women’s health spaces and briefed them with accurate fibroid information to adapt into their own voice. Across 54 collaborations, more than 100 pieces of content went live in July through stories and posts, reaching a combined following of over 3.7 million.
By putting factual health information in the hands of voices women already trusted, the campaign delivered education at a scale the organisation could never have achieved through owned channels alone.
Briefing Creators to Carry Accurate Fibroid Information
Health-awareness campaigns for a non-profit follow the same shortlist-first process as any Terrier influencer campaign, adapted for accuracy rather than product promotion: creators were sourced specifically for existing credibility in women’s health spaces, briefed with factual fibroid information, and left to adapt that information into their own voice rather than repeat a script.
What 3.7 Million Reach Meant for a July Awareness Push
54 collaborations producing more than 100 pieces of content in July, reaching a combined following of over 3.7 million, is a reach figure describing how many people were exposed to fibroid awareness content — not a measure of diagnoses, donations or any other outcome, which this page does not claim. For a non-profit with no owned audience of that size, reaching trusted voices in the space is itself the achievement the campaign set out to deliver.
