The Challenge
Electrastim is a British manufacturer of electro-stimulation products for adult wellness. This is a heavily restricted category. Most platforms limit what can be shown or said, and many creators will not work in the space at all. The campaign had to work within tight constraints without becoming invisible.
Our Approach
We ran a very small, carefully managed campaign with creators experienced in the category.
- 8 pieces of content were produced, a deliberately minimal run given platform restrictions
- Only creators with an existing, compliant presence in adult wellness were approached
- Briefs were written to stay strictly inside platform content policy
- Every piece was reviewed for compliance before publication
In a restricted category, staying live matters more than reach. Nothing was removed, and the engagement rate held above the campaign average across this group.
The Results
8 pieces of content reached an audience of 49,835 at a 6.3% engagement rate, with no content removed for policy breaches.
Casting Inside a Category Most Platforms Restrict
Terrier’s shortlist and briefing steps run the same way for a restricted category as any other, with the compliance check moved earlier: creators are vetted for an existing, policy-compliant presence in adult wellness before they are approached at all, so a brief is never written for someone who cannot legally post it. Content is then reviewed against platform policy at draft stage, ahead of the usual brand-guideline check, because a takedown after publication cannot be undone.
8 pieces of content is a deliberately small number set against a 49,835 reach. The campaign was not sized to maximise volume, it was sized to stay live. An engagement rate of 6.3% with nothing removed for policy breaches is the result that mattered most here, ahead of scale.
